Capacity to repay is the most critical of the five factors, with cash being the preferred means.
Capital, which is the money that you personally have invested in the business. Collateral or guarantee of security that you can provide the lender. Conditions describing the specific purpose of the loan and how it will be repaid. Character, which is the general impression you make on the prospective lender or investor.
On the opther hand, for those of you who are pursuing the procurement of government contracts, your business plan describes how you will adhere to your contractual agreements. State and federal agencies want to know how you will deliver goods and/or services in a timely manner, and without glitches or problems.
